Halle Berry fires back at 'ageist' comment after sharing sultry photo
"You won the internet today with this clap back," one fan wrote.
Halle Berry has no time for ageism.
Over the weekend, the "Gothika" star, 56, took to social media with a sun-kissed nude photo of herself leaning on a balcony and sipping wine.
While many praised the mom-of-two for confidently baring it all, one person accused the actress of stripping down "for attention."
"Imagine being in your 50s, and still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids. Aging with dignity is no longer a thing," they wrote.
Berry took no time firing back at the comment.
"Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?" she quote-tweeted in response to the criticism.

Fans spared no time rallying behind Berry and praising her clever clap-back.
"You won the internet today with this clap back," one fan wrote, while another pointed out:
"Halle Berry is easily the most enjoyable and unproblematic celeb Twitter account. Sis is just out here bein fine as hell, enjoying life, loving her man, and shooting the shit with her fans. Imagine how miserable one has to be to find a problem with that."
"Imagine being in your 50s and still being one of the hottest women on the planet," someone else weighed in.
A fan tweeted: "Tell him, sis. Keep doing you 'cause we are here for it and happy to see you living your best life."
"I found this inspiring," another shared. "It’s healthy to go outside and be natural. Keep it up. I’ll be doing it when I’m 80!"
Halle Berry is used to being real with her fans on social media. Earlier this year, she took to Instagram to share a hilarious video of herself face-planting at an event.
"Sometimes you bust your ass," she wrote alongside a video clip of her falling up a set of stairs.
"My dear friend @ShillaHekmatPiano invited me to speak at her charity event celebrating a wonderful organization called @LookingBeyondLA that raises money for children with special needs … then that happened!!! I face-planted," Berry explained, adding a plant emoji and ending her note with a call for donations. "Children are worth it!"
