Haley and Oula Palve reveal gender of their baby in 'beautiful' video — it's a girl!

Haley and Oula Palve are having a baby girl.

The wife of former Pittsburgh Penguins player, Oula Palve, recently shared an exciting Instagram reel unveiling the gender of their bundle of joy by popping a gender reveal balloon.

In the caption, Palve expressed the growing anticipation she and her husband feel toward meeting their daughter.

"I had a very vivid dream of our baby before we even transferred our little embryo and that dream came true!," the wife of the hockey player wrote. "We can't wait to meet you, little darling."

Fans flooded the comment section with heartfelt congratulations.

"So excited for you!" a fan wrote.

"This is beautiful. Congratulations," another added.

"Congratulations! What a great reveal," an Instagram user commented.

"So happy for you. Get ready for your life to change in the best way," someone else chimed in.

Back in July, Palve shared a message with her Instagram followers announcing the start of her IVF journey after two failed IUIs [Intrauterine inseminations].

"We've made the tough choice to start IVF. It wasn't an easy decision to make but with a blocked fallopian tube and low ovarian reserve this is the safest/best choice for us," she explained. "Thankful that IVF is an option and I'm manifesting motherhood!"

The influencer admitted infertility has been the "toughest thing" she has gone through, adding that at times she felt angry at her own body and wanted "to give up."

"But I know we will get through this and our time is coming," Palve wrote.

Fortunately, the couple managed to find luck at the end of a challenging IVF process. Earlier this month, Palve updated her Instagram followers on her first 15 weeks of pregnancy.

In a heartfelt caption, she reflected on the emotional rollercoaster of her first trimester, admitting she felt a mix of anxiety and hope that accompanied the initial weeks after the embryo transfer.

"When we transferred our first little embryo I was anxious but full of hope," she shared. "Every little thing I felt worried me, and the first 10 weeks were mixed with a lot of different emotions."

As the weeks progressed, Palve found herself gradually growing a sense of joy and anticipation instead. She shared her thoughts, writing, "I'm not sure it has totally hit me yet that I get to have my baby that I've dreamt of for so long, and maybe I won't believe it until I get to hold that dream in my arms in 25 weeks."
