After a busy weekend of browsing Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, retailers are shifting their focus towards the spirit of the holiday season by celebrating Giving Tuesday.

The event originated in 2012 as a partnership between the United Nations Foundation and 92nd Street Y as as an answer to the influx of spending following Thanksgiving in the U.S. In recent years, Giving Tuesday has grown to become a day in which many high profile brands pledge to support and provide donations to charitable causes.

Looking to put your money towards a worthy cause? We’ve gathered a list of retailers who are celebrating Giving Tuesday by donating a portion of their sales to charity.

Alo Yoga

The California-based activewear brand is celebrating Giving Tuesday by supporting Alo Gives, the brand’s non-profit organization which teaches children about mindfulness through yoga.

Anthropologie

The bohemian-inspired apparel and furniture brand has pledged to donate $10 for every gift card sold during Giving Tuesday.

Apple

Apple has announced that all proceeds from PRODUCT (RED) purchases will go towards assisting Global Fund’s COVID-19 Response now through to June 30.

Bissell

The floor and home-care company has pledged to match donations to the Bissell Pet Foundation up to $100,000 from now through to Jan. 10.

Dylan’s Candy Bar

The iconic candy retailer is matching donations to Dylan’s Candy BarN Foundation which helps support animal rescue initiatives.

Everlane

The sustainable retailer has announced they will be doubling their donation to the ACLU for every product sold from their 100% Human collection.

H&M

The clothing retailer has teamed up with the Trevor Project in a $250,000 USD match campaign to help support the organization’s efforts to support members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Hudson’s Bay

The Canadian retailer has announced that 100 per cent of proceeds of their Charity Bear will support the Hudson’s Bay Foundation, which aims to support mental health initiatives.

Kate Spade

Kate Spade will be donating 5 per cent of Giving Tuesday net sales to On Purpose, an organization which supports the development and empowerment of young girls in Masoro, Rawanda up to $250,000.

Leesa

For each Hybrid or Legend mattress sold, Leesa will donate a mattress to a child in need.

Madewell

The clothing retailer has pledged to match customer donations to No Kid Hungry and help provide meals to vulnerable children up to $1 million.

Old Navy

Old Navy has announced that it will donate $10 for every customer pick-up order up to $1 million to This Way Onward, a job opportunity program.

Our Place

The manufacturers of the Always Pan have pledged to donate 10 meals for every product sold to Feeding America.

Outdoor Voices

The athletic apparel company has pledged to donate leggings to those in need through Delivering Good, an organization which provides essential goods to those impacted by poverty or disaster.

Reformation

The clothing retailer has teamed up with ThredUP to create RefRecycling, a clothing recycling program that includes a donation from Reformation to Circular Fashion Fund which helps support a more sustainable fashion future.

Tory Burch

To celebrate Giving Tuesday, 20 per cent of sales from designer Tory Burch’s favourite pieces will be donated to the Tory Burch Foundation, which helps empower women entrepreneurs.

Universal Standard

The inclusive fashion brand is donating 10% of all Giving Tuesday profits to support Black Women’s Health Imperative, which helps support the physical, emotional and financial health of Black women in the United States.
