Gabrielle Union and daughter Kaavia are 'twinning' in new photos
Fans loved the cute photos of the 50-year-old actress and her mini-me daughter.
Gabrielle Union and her daughter are "twinning."
On Monday, the 50-year-old shared a carousel of photos sitting outdoors next to her four-year-old daughter, Kaavia, in matching braided hairstyles.
The "Think Like A Man" star posed makeup-free wearing a grey Museum of Peace & Quiet "Natural" sweatshirt paired with grey joggers.
"Imitation is the best form of flattery," Union captioned the post for her more than 20 million followers. "@kaaviajames suggested I get the same hairstyle that she got and I was honoured to oblige. Twinning is winning. Anything for her."
The set of photos also featured Union's husband, 40-year-old former NBA player Dwayne Wade documenting Kaavia and her hairstyles.
"Oh, I love it," Wade says in the video of Kaavia's hair before turning the camera toward Union, adding, "Mommy? Oh, twinsies!"
Fans met the actress's family photos with praise for sharing the "cutest mother-daughter" moment.
"Twins! you both look so adorable," one Instagram user commented.
Another wrote: "OK! Cutest mother-daughter duo."
"Name a better duo," someone else quipped.
"Wow, like mother like daughter!" added another.
One fan penned: "This is so wholesome! Love it!" while another commented, "This is too cute! Mommy's looking like the big sis."
In November, Union shared a carousel of photos with Kaavia and Wade from the red carpet premiere of the Disney film "Strange World," starring Union, Lucy Liu and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Union wore a plunging hot pink gown with a floral neckline, while Wade sported a black suit with a turtleneck sweater and hot pink sneakers.
"'Strange World' and we're just living in it. We're all we got," she captioned the snaps.
While celebrities and fans were quick to applaud Union and Wade for their looks, it was Kaavia's look that stole the show.
"Need [Kaavia's] fit. We are close in size," joked "Abbott Elementary" star and creator Quinta Brunson.
"Beautiful," wrote "The Woman King" and "Fences" actress Viola Davis.
"The whole family ate. Absolutely slaying. But it's Kaavia for me!" one Instagram user commented. "She is so adorable I can't handle it! Love."
"OK, way to steal the show! You and Kaavia are so cute. Best mother-daughter duo," wrote another.
