From Jennifer Lopez to Kylie Jenner, cast your vote for this week's best and worst-dressed celebrity
A-lists stars like Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Emma Stone brought out head-turning looks recently.
Paris Fashion Week, premieres of highly-anticipated movies, Vogue World — it's been a hefty week for celebrity fashion. Some of the world's biggest stars like Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry brought their A-game when it came to style over the past few days. On the other hand, other big-name icons like Avril Lavigne and Emma Stone tried their best but ultimately failed when it came to their looks.
Still, something must be said for the number of style risks several celebrities have chosen to take this week. Even though not every piece landed, the expression "go big or go home" certainly rings true for fashion.
Below, scroll through some of the most head-turning looks this past week — and cast your vote for favourite and least-favourite outfits. Then, check back in over the weekend to see who Yahoo Canada readers decided to crown this week's best and worst-dressed celebrity.
BEST DRESSED: Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez might be the butt of everyone's recent jokes and celebrity hatred, but the singer's top-notch sense of style isn't something internet trolls can take from her. The 54-year-old "Love Don't Cost a Thing" artist left our jaws on the floor with the tan dress she wore for the Christian Dior Paris Fashion Week show. She paired the one-shoulder piece with matching open-toe heels, black leather gloves and a black purse from the fashion house.
WORST DRESSED: Lupita Nyong'o
Lupita Nyong'o is one of those stars who naturally exudes beauty, but this custom Prada outfit she wore to the New York premiere of "A Quiet Place: Day One" is just awkward. The all-black catsuit shines with sequins and an off-the-shoulder neckline. However, it's paired with a satin skirt-like piece around the 41-year-old actress's waist, turning back into frumpy sequinned pants; the looks is topped off with a floor-grazing train that mimics a cape, shiny black stilettos, more black sequins in her hair and silver jewelry from De Beers.
BEST DRESSED: Kylie Jenner

Love her or hate her, Kylie Jenner knows what goes into an eye-catching look. The 26-year-old socialite looked pretty in pink during Paris Fashion Week wearing a crystal-dotted Schiaparelli gown featuring a strapless neckline and a corsetted waist.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder wore the stunning piece to sit front row at the fashion house's haute couture show; she paired the Daniel Roseberry-designed look with a matching satin pink shawl and bridal-style tulle face net.
WORST DRESSED: Avril Lavigne
If you've watched enough America's Next Top Model, you'd be haunted by enough comments from judges that centre around the infamous "no-neck monster" critique. With Avril Lavigne's Iris Van Herpen look she wore during Paris Fashion Week, you just know Tyra Banks would not be pulling her photograph to eliminate the queen of pop-punk music. The 39-year-old singer's futuristic black-and-white ensemble was almost zippered high enough to leave her choking, and neither the balloon shorts or spiky hair did the Canadian songstress any favours.
BEST DRESSED: Jisoo
Blackpink's Jisoo channelled a medieval princess for Paris Fashion week, wearing an elegant two-piece look that's impeccably styled. The 29-year-old Dior ambassador wore the pearl and crystal-embellished outfit while sitting front row beside CEO Delphine Arnault and singer Jennifer Lopez at the fashion house's haute couture show.
The K-Pop artist paired the long-sleeve dress with black punk-like accessories, including a leather belt, tall strapped boots, Argyle-print socks and a matching Dior mini handbag. She topped off her look with braided bun-style details in her hair and chic grey nails.
WORST DRESSED: Cara Delevingne
Cara Delevingne's outfit for Vogue World: Paris is a good example of a piece that might look wonderful in an editorial photoshoot but doesn't translate well on a red carpet. The 31-year-old model went nautical for the event, wearing a bow-adorned sailor hat and a cone bra corset that featured several loose straps to mimic a long skirt. The questionable piece, guest designed by Simone Rocha for Jean Paul Gaultier, was paired with sheer white tights and a bow-topped matching slippers.
BEST DRESSED: Katy Perry
This might not be a look that resonates with everyone, but we think Katy Perry looked full-on chic with the naked dress she wore for Vogue World: Paris. It was the first time the 39-year-old singer ever walked a runway, and did so looking glamorous in an archival Noir Kei Ninomiya cut-out gown featuring interlocking leather petals and a tulle flower skirt. The "Firework" artist opted for no jewelry, letting her wet hair look, bold makeup style and cross-tied heels do the rest of the talking.
WORST DRESSED: Emma Stone
Whomever is trying to bring capris back from the graveyard of the 2000s must be immediately stopped. For a special screening of "Kinds of Kindness" in London, Emma Stone lived her schoolteacher fantasy with black capri pants, a bright red v-neck sweater and a blue buttoned shirt. The 35-year-old actress opted for black pumps and a plastic headband, as well as a few dainty rings and small drop earrings for accessories.
BEST DRESSED: Ashley Park
Ashley Park looked like a glittering snowflake at Vogue World: Paris with a fun pale pink and silver Rahul Mishra couture dress. The 33-year-old "Emily in Paris" star showed off her bra-less bust with the gown's deep-v neckline. The actress went silver with her accessories, wearing shiny platform heels from Giuseppe Zanotti and a shimmering shoulder purse. For jewelry, Park opted for silver drop earrings, several choker-style necklaces, a few matching rings and a shiny short bracelet.
WORST DRESSED: Elizabeth Debicki
"MaXXXine" is one of this year's most highly-anticipated movies, but the two-piece outfit Elizabeth Debicki chose to wear for the premiere in Los Angeles was lacking the pizzazz required for such an event. The 33-year-old actress wore a herringbone bra and matching high-rise, wide-leg trousers from Ashi Studio. She continued her understated vibe with open-toe sandals, and only wore bronze drop earrings for jewelry.
