EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Wearstler Debuts Bar Accessories Collection With Italy’s Giobagnara
MILAN — Los Angeles interior designer Kelly Wearstler on Thursday unveiled a collection with Italian decor firm Giobagnara. Dedicated to the art of entertaining, Wearstler envisaged a line that includes a bar cart, coasters, bottle openers, trays and dishes designed for aperitivo time. In an interview, she said it was her first time designing a bar cart, or bar accessories for that matter.
“I’ve always been drawn to Italy for its rich design heritage and artisanal traditions. Working with Giobagnara felt so natural because they embody a commitment to craftsmanship and quality that is essential to my own work. Together I knew we would be able to create a collection that respects tradition but also feels bold and fresh,” Wearstler said of the Maris collection with Giobagnara, recognizable for its asymmetric forms, soft lines and leather accents. On Kelly Wearstler’s shopping platform, pieces like the Champagne bucket can be purchased starting at $936 and $29,970 for the bar cart.

She said the collection caters to a diverse audience, “from enthusiasts of bold craftsmanship and the art of entertaining, to professionals in the yachting and hotel industries seeking refined, high-quality offerings.”
Wearstler also recently lent her aesthetic to Christofle for tableware of silver plated bowls, trays, flatware, candelabras, glasses and more. The French firm said Wearstler’s artistic vision and designs blended well with Christofle’s craftsmanship.
In 2023, the interior designer launched two collections with Belgian design brand Serax of tableware, glassware, serve ware and cutlery in neutral tones, imagined to be combined to create rich compositions.
Based in Genoa, Italy, Giobagnara collaborates with hospitality and fashion brands like Elie Saab Maison. Giobagnara chief executive officer and founder Giorgio Bagnara started the firm in the ’90s with the idea to bring fashion materials into home decor.
“Genoa, the city in the north of Italy where Giobagnara is based and has its operations, and America have a historical connection. Our tastes, especially in organic and vintage-inspired elements, are coming together more and more. We both have a deep love for comfortable, practical luxury. Different, yet wonderfully complementary,” he said.
A fashion lover, Wearstler has inked partnerships with Dior and Matchesfashion and collaborated with Net-a-porter and Maison Margiela, and guest-edited a city guide for Louis Vuitton.
For the launch and through the end of the year, Kelly Wearstler x Giobagnara will be available exclusively at TableArt’s online platform and on Wearstler’s website. An expanded version of the line will be showcased by Giobagnara at Maison&Objet in January 2025.
Upcoming projects, Wearstler said, include a special exhibition with renowned Mumbai hub, Aequo Gallery.
