Drake is showing off his hometown pride.
On Wednesday, the Grammy-winning rapper shared a carousel of photos with his Instagram followers embracing his Canadian roots ahead of his highly anticipated upcoming 56-date "It's All a Blur Tour," with rapper 21 Savage.
The post included a snap of the "6ix god" in a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) jacket while shopping at a local Shoppers Drug Mart. It also had several other candid photos of the Ontario-born icon sitting on a sofa, scrolling on his phone and driving.
The 36-year-old kicks off his three-month-long tour in two weeks, starting in Memphis, Tenn., and ending back in Toronto in October.
"And away we go…" he penned in the caption, in an ode to the city.
In the comments, fans revealed in Drake's Canadian charm and praised him for the major Toronto shout-out.
"You are in the wrong aisle," the official Shoppers Drug Mart account quipped.
"Shout-out to Shoppers though," one Instagram user wrote alongside a laughing emoji.
"Back in Shoppers splurging with Optimum points," another person added.
Someone else commented: "TTC jacket is low-key fire."
"The only man in the city who doesn’t drive the bus… but has access to the exclusive TTC jacket," a fan added.
Earlier this week, the "Hotline Bling" rapper penned a heartfelt goodbye letter to Toronto in his Instagram story, revealing his hopes of making his city "proud once again."
"Goodbye my beautiful city," he wrote alongside a photo of the CN Tower at sunset, adding:
"I haven’t left for this reason in over 6 years but I hope I can make you proud once again. I love you all. Have an amazing summer and pls try to take care of each other. See you in October.”
