Curvy Sports Illustrated model Hunter McGrady slams bodyshaming trolls

Swimsuit model Hunter McGrady has the body of a cover girl — and no one is going to tell her differently.

The breakout star is set to appear in Sports Illustrated’s upcoming Swimsuit Issue; but at size 16 the curvy blonde is copping harsh criticism.

“Being overweight is physically and medically wrong,” an onlooker wrote on McGrady’s Instagram.

But the model holds a unapologetic stance against those who try to cut her down.

“My body is not wrong,” she posted alongside a lush swimsuit shot. “There is no part of it that is not me or does not belong where it is.”

“There is no such thing as a ‘wrong’ body. What’s wrong is the way you see it, the beliefs you impose on it, the labels you attach to it.

“Your words are wrong — not my body.”

McGrady is a fierce advocate for body positivity, using her fame to make others feel good in their own skin.

“I feel so grateful to be able to share these moments with women and men around the world who have never felt like they had a place because media has brainwashed us into thinking we have to fit a certain mold in order to fit in and be beautiful,” she wrote in a post last week.

“We are here to stay so get on board.”

Last year, the model made headlines as one of the heaviest girls to feature in a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Things are also shaping up in her personal life, too, after becoming engaged to partner Brian Keys – an admirer who reached out to her on Snapchat.
