Cindy Crawford looks 'timeless' in white outfit from daughter Kaia Gerber's Zara collab
Cindy Crawford is turning back time.
The 56-year-old posted an Instagram Reel on Wednesday of herself wearing an all-white outfit from the collaboration between her 21-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber, and fashion chain Zara. In the video, Crawford posed barefoot in a building's hallway, wearing a cropped ribbed turtleneck sweater and a long satin skirt featuring a slit.
"Not often you get to wear your daughter's clothes," the supermodel wrote in her caption to the post. "Thanks, [Kaia Gerber] for sharing your [Zara] collab with me!"
Fellow celebrities and fans were quick to show their love for Crawford, with many noting her unparalleled beauty.
"Dream model!" wrote daughter Kaia Gerber.
"Very pretty," shared "Four Weddings and a Funeral" star Andie MacDowell, along with a red heart emoji. "Love the simple cream."
"A true goddess of beauty and sensuality," penned "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Diana Jenkins.
"You are stunning, you timeless goddess," one fan added.
"Always chic," another chimed in, along with a red heart emoji.
"You are always so beautiful and classy," one person replied.
While Crawford might be a timeless beauty, the legendary fashion icon wants to embrace her age and avoid being called "ageless."
"It puts too much pressure on me," Crawford told Haute Living. "I know all the ways that I've aged. My face has gotten much thinner; my mouth isn't as full. Being told I'm ageless isn't right, especially because getting older is hard enough, never mind that we live in a youth-obsessed culture.
"I'm not 25, so why should I be trying to look 25? Why do I want someone to mistake me for a 25-year-old? I've had children. I have all this life experience."
The mom-of-two added that the idea of aging has loomed over her.
"When I started modelling, I said, 'What am I going to do after I turn 25?' There wasn't someone who had a career like me before that I could follow or look up to," she recalled. "And then, all of a sudden, I was still modelling at 26, 27, 30, 35, 40 and now, 56. There was no way I thought I would still be 'modelling' to this day.
"Aging is what happens if we're lucky; it means that I'm alive. I'm like an aging athlete. I know the game so much better, but I don't have a 20-year-old neck or whatever."
