Carrie Underwood shines in rhinestone gown on the 2022 AMAs red carpet: 'Glowing'
Carrie Underwood knows how to rock a red carpet.
On Sunday evening, the 39-year-old attended the 2022 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
At the event, Underwood was nominated for favourite country album and favourite female country artist. She also performed her hit song "Crazy Angels," which she sang on a spherical cage suspended from the ceiling.
To walk the red carpet before the show, the "Before He Cheats" singer stepped out in a glitzy baby pink gown complete with a halter-top and a daring leg slit, which showed off her sculpted legs.
The dress, which came from Tony Ward's Spring/Summer 2023 collection, was adorned with colourful beaded fringe and sparkly rhinestones around the plunging neckline.
To accessorize, the country queen donned oversized teardrop earrings by Kallati and a series of rings by Ali Weiss Jewelry, Nicole Rose Jewelry, Loree Rodkin and LeVian.
To top off her look, she rocked a pair of silver studded stilettos by Cult of Coquette.
For glam, the songstress opted for a classic smoky eye, a nude lip and wore her blonde locks in loose, beachy waves.
Before the show, the mother-of-two shared a carousel of Instagram photos of her stylish look alongside a caption expressing her excitement for the event.
"Happy to be on the red carpet at the AMAs! Can’t wait to perform!," she penned to her 12 million followers.
In the comments, fans went wild over her "beautiful" gown and fawned over her "strong" physique.
"Love the dress! Stunning and so strong!" commented a follower.
"Wow this dress is beautiful! She's glowing and truly delivering disco ball vibes!" shared someone else.
"Oh my quad!" added a fan. "She never skips leg day!"
"The greatest legs in country music history," wrote another alongside the thumbs up and flexing arm emojis.
