Black Friday is coming, and whether you’re planning to hit the stores early or shop online from the comfort of your own home, it’s sure to be great time to take advantage of major sales.
Although it started out as an American shopping event following Thanksgiving south of the border, in the last few years Canadians have been quick to embrace the event as a great way to start holiday shopping, and save big while doing it.
Most major retailers will be offering some type of deals throughout the weekend of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and there’s no shortage of Canadian businesses getting involved this time around too.
We’ve put together a list of proudly Canadian retailers that you’ll want to bookmark to make sure you don’t miss a single sale!
MPG Sport
Black Friday sales are just around the corner at this sustainable athletic wear company, and you can even shop and save ahead of time with the brand’s current sale.
Save 30% on fall jackets and outerwear just in time for cooler weather.
Roots
As one of the go-to destinations for all things comfy and loungewear, Roots is one retailer to check out this Black Friday.
Expect to find deals on their collection of apparel, footwear, and leather accessories at up to 40% off, and possibly even some doorcrasher sales on hot seasonal items.
Sport Chek
Sport Chek recently revealed what’s in store for this year’s Black Friday sales to begin on Nov. 26, but you can already shop a selection of early deals online.
Find up to 60% off doorcrasher deals, up to 30% off top brands like Nike, The North Face, and Under Armour, plus more deals on supplements, tech, and winter sports gear.
Mejuri
If you’re looking to treat yourself to jewelry this holiday season, you won’t want to miss out on Mejuri’s biggest sale of the year.
Details are still tightly under wraps, but if you sign up for the Mejuri newsletter, you’ll be the first to know about any exclusive deals.
Lululemon
You’ll want to act fast to stock up on Lululemon’s exclusive sale, because once their Black Friday deals start, they won’t stick around for long.

Canada’s oldest retailer is no stranger to Black Friday deals, and you can expect to find plenty of savings across all of their major departments, from beauty to fashion to home.
Announcements have yet to be made about exact details, but last year’s offering saw up to 70% off on select apparel, footwear, accessories, kids, home, luggage, and more.
Mark’s
This year, upgrade your wardrobe with deals at Mark’s for men and women. You’ll find up to 70% off select fashion brands, as well as up to 50% off workwear essentials.
SSENSE

Although specific details have yet to be released, last year’s sale saw store-wide discounts of up to 50% off.
