Blue Bell Is Bringing Back a Holiday Flavor That Fans Call ‘One of My Favorites of All Time’

Now, Blue Bell is giving fans a jumpstart on the holiday season by bringing back one of its most popular candy-inspired ice creams.

Blue Bell’s Peppermint Ice Cream Returns to Stores

Blue Bell’s Peppermint ice cream is back on shelves for a limited time. The colorful frozen treat features a double dose of flavor, perfect for fans of the nostalgic candy cane. The base features peppermint ice cream in a light pink hue. Crushed red and green peppermint candies are sprinkled throughout, adding a crunch and burst of flavor to every spoonful.

Blue Bell dropped the news on Instagram and many were quick to share their excitement. “This flavor is one of my favorites of all time. It's really hard to find mint without chocolate and being that I'm allergic to chocolate I simply can't get enough and I stock up every year,” commented a fan.

This drop comes just after the brand relaunched Peppermint Bark for the season, which includes chocolate chunks and peppermint bark pieces. However, there’s one more flavor fans are begging for to complete the Blue Bell holiday trifecta: Christmas Cookies Ice Cream.

Blue Bell’s Christmas Cookies ice cream is made with sugar cookie-flavored ice cream and loaded with three types of cookies, sprinkles, and a generous icing swirl. “Please we need the Christmas Cookies now in stores. I live in Northeast Florida and I’m waiting for this ice cream all year long,” said one fan. “We’re waiting for Christmas Cookies!!!! Come on come on come on,” pleaded another.

While there’s no word on whether or not we’ll see Christmas Cookies hit stores this year, fans of Peppermint will have plenty to fill their bowls. Blue Bell’s Peppermint ice cream is only available while supplies last so if you want enough for milkshakes, cones, and peppermint brownies à la mode throughout December, you’ll definitely want to stock up.
