Baseball fan's Shohei Ohtani Halloween card costume is a big hit
Halloween can be a trying time for parents when it comes to organizing a trick-or-treating costume for their kids. But for the Cortez family from Covina, California, this year’s outfit was a no-brainer.
9-year-old Ryan has been a lifelong baseball fan and has been playing the game since the age of four. His favorite team is the Los Angeles Dodgers and his favorite player is their star pitcher, Shohei Ohtani. So, as the time neared to suit up for Halloween, he and his mom, Cheyanne, got creative by making a one-of-a-kind Ohtani baseball card costume complete with the pitcher’s stats.
