Over the weekend, the "Complicated" singer, 38, took to Instagram with three sets of stunning photos from her latest photoshoot from PhotoBook Magazine.
In the first "edgy" snap, Lavigne channelled her iconic pop-punk aesthetic in a black leather, strapless, lace-up jumpsuit paired with a black oversized quilted puffer coat. She accessorized with a black and silver studded belt and three silver chain necklaces.
For her second look, the Canadian pop-punk icon donned a fur-trimmed leather jacket and wore her hair in messy waves.
For her final all-black ensemble, Lavigne opted for something more elegant — a ruched asymmetrical gown paired with long black gloves and lace-up high heel sandals. The singer's makeup featured her signature smokey eye and sharp black eyeliner in all three looks.
In her caption, the shared a black heart and lightning bolt emoji before crediting the team responsible for styling her, directing the shoot and taking he photos.
Lavigne shared two separate posts showcasing a second black, mermaid gown by Moschino that featured several silver spikes and a black mesh headpiece.
Fans swooned over Lavigne's look.
"You really elevated your look/vibe. New style era. I love it so much," an Instagram user penned.
"This girl is on fire! We love this aesthetic for the new era," someone else shared.
One person wrote: "Loving this dark style."
"Queen of vampires!" a fan quipped, while another added, "Edgy queen."
"You ate this! Such a slay," commented another.
Earlier this month, Lavigne flaunted her pop-punk style on Instagram once again, with two sets of photos from New York Fashion Week.
In the first set of photos, Lavigne ditched her former long bob hairstyle and wore an extra-long, sleek wig. She struck a pose alongside the likes of Janet Jackson, Kesha and fashion designer Christian Siriano.
She also wore a long black leather coat with puffy ruched sleeves, wide-leg pants and a black lace top.
The singer shared a heartfelt congratulations to Siriano for 15 years in the fashion industry in her caption.
"Congrats on 15 incredible years," she wrote. "Watching the show was a surreal experience and you nailed every detail. You fused together fashion and music seamlessly. Working with you before the event was so easy and the intention you put into every detail was not missed."
For her subsequent Instagram post —which also featured "Misery Business" singer Hayley Williams from Paramore. She channelled her inner rockstar, sporting an oversized Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt paired with a long black leather jacket and thigh-high black stiletto boots.
"Go hard or go home," she penned alongside the photos.
