Ariana Grande Is A Couture Bride In A Magnificent Sheer Ball Gown
Ariana Grande swapped her Glinda-fied pink wardrobe for a couture bridal gown earlier this week for an event in New York City.
To attend the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards ceremony, the pop star – who plays the 'Good Witch of Oz' in the forthcoming Wicked movie-musical adaptation – made a ravishing appearance dressed in a gown from Vivienne Westwood’s 2024 bridal couture collection.
The strapless piece featured a corseted bodice that plummeted into a voluminous and structured skirt. The dress was also constructed out of a gauzy white mesh material, embroidered with whimsical floral illustrations throughout.

Grande completed her look with white Manolo Blahnik pumps. As a Swarovski ambassador, she also accessorised with an array of glittering crystal jewellery, from layered necklaces to a twisted ring.
The 'Positions' singer also posed alongside her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, who channeled Elphaba, the 'Wicked Witch of the West' in a crystal-embroidered green slip dress layered over a sleeveless grey knit top and grey striped trousers – a look from Erdem’s recent SS25 runway collection.
Grande, who was cast in the Broadway musical adaptation back in 2021, has opened up on multiple occasions about Glinda being her dream role, having been a lifelong fan of the show.
'I know the material like the back of my hand, but I still have so much to learn,' she said back in 2022. 'I went pretty hard getting ready.'
Working alongside Erivo has been 'the most incredible gift of my entire life,' the singer added. 'Every piece of me, every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my everything that I can give it…I am spending all my time with Glinda.'
Wicked will be released in UK cinemas on November 27.
