Anne Hathaway wows in daring cutout dress for 'WeCrashed' red carpet
Anne Hathaway went bold on the red carpet for the premiere of her Apple+ series "WeCrashed" in New York City.
On Thursday, the 39-year-old turned heads in a sky blue cutout dress by David Koma that featured a black peek-a-boo-bralette. Hathaway paired the fashion-forward look with Aquazurra heels and black clutch.
Photos of Oscar-winner's latest look have garnered a ton of praise from fans online, with many dubbing this "the best she's ever looked."
"This is literally the best she's ever looked," one fan wrote on Instagram. "That dress is gorgeous and she hasn't aged a day in the last decade. Stunning!"
"She’s so radiant," someone else added of the mom-of-two.
"Anne is looking incredible!" another wrote, paired with two flame emojis.
"Her dress is everything. I'm obsessed. I need to see her taking more fashion risks like this 'cause clearly it's paying off. Anne ate this look," someone else commented via Instagram.
In the new limited series "WeCrashed," Hathaway portrays WeWork co-founder Rebekah Neumann. The series follows the rise and fall of Neumann and her husband, Adam. The couple behind one of the most profitable start-ups in history that faced several high-profile lawsuits after an inflated valuation claimed the company was worth $47 billion, when in fact, it was worth less than $10 billion.
Speaking to People, Hathaway opened up about what drew her to the role of the disgraced and controversial Neumann.
"I loved the chance to take a story that people knew or feel like they know very well and to humanize it. That was really appealing," she said.
Approaching the role, she explained that she felt "a responsibility to her humanity and to her truth."
Another thing that attracted her to the series was the chance to work with the impressive, already-assembled creative team, including Drew Curbelo and Lee Eisenberg, the show's creators, and actor Jared Leto.
Ahead of the first screening, Hathaway called the series "one of the greatest creative experiences" of her life.
