Mindy Kaling's limited edition Andie swimwear collection is here — shop our picks
The writer and actor can now add swimwear designer to her resume.
Writer, producer and actress Mindy Kaling has a new title to add to her resume: Swimwear designer.
In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, the "Mindy Project" creator revealed that she partnered with Andie, the popular women's swimwear brand known for their well-made, comfortable and stylish suits.
In the photo, the actress posed on the beach while wearing the brand's $112 USD/$153 CAD Amalfi swimsuit in a brand new Daffodil colour.
"I am so excited to launch my first-ever swimwear collection(!!) in collaboration with Andie!" the mom-of-two captioned the post. "I designed new limited edition styles, and also re-imagined classic Andie suits in bold + fun Mindy-approved colours (but also some classic colours if you're, like, just trying to be chill)."
In case you're unfamiliar with the brand, Andie Swim prides itself on creating some of the internet's best-fitting swimwear styles. They have worked with more than 300,000 women to get feedback and wear tests and it shows in their comfortable and flattering designs.
They also teamed up with their number one celebrity fan Demi Moore in 2022 to create a limited edition collection of vintage-inspired bathing suits, which are still available to shop.
Kaling explained that while she is "not crazy about trying on swimsuits," she wanted to design a collection that's "bold, fun and empowering, full of pieces that make you look and feel amazing."
Pieces range in price from $71 CAD/$52 USD for a pair of high-waisted bottoms to $175 CAD/$128 USD for a textured one-piece swimsuit. You'll also find fun extras, like a matching cardigan or swim dress to complete your poolside look.
