The impacts of COVID-19 on fashion has been undeniable. With most of us working from home or attending school online, our day to day wardrobe reflected our need to be comfortable during unprecedented times.
Although we said goodbye to workwear (and pants in general) — it became clear that our current inventory of sleep and loungewear wasn't going to cut it, unless we wore the same outfits for days at time. A 2015 survey from the Daily Mail revealed that on average, women were already wearing the same pyjamas for 17 days before washing (men wore the same pair for 13). Between sweat and skin cells, our pyjamas can quickly become a hot bed for bacteria.
