What are they?
The HomeIdeas Anti-Slip House Slippers are Amazon’s latest must-have house shoe that not only provide four layers of memory foam and sponge comfort, but also anti-slip grip to protect you from slipping on spills or slick hardwood floors. Why shoppers love them
With an average 4.2-star rating on more than 3,100 reviews, it’s plain to see why these slippers made the Amazon’s Choice roster. According to the reviews, they’re bound to make for “happy feet.”
“Bought these for my dad as a Father’s Day gift,” one shopper wrote. “He said he gives them a 5/5 and he’s a very picky person.”
Another happy shopper wrote he loves that he “can go outside for garbage without having to put shoes on,” adding that they seemed a bit small but stretched out for a perfect fit after a few days.
These house shoes were perfect for one shopper who found himself unable to put on socks after hip surgery. “These slippers keep my feet warm at a great price,” he wrote.
However, it’s not all positive reviews for these slippers.
Many reviewers mentioned that the memory foam padding is too thin, with one shopper commenting: “The memory foam padding is barely padding. There is nothing there. You feel the sole of the shoes.”
One shopper purchased these to help with balance, but noted that they don’t hold up for those wanting to wearing them all day, every day. “They didn’t seem to hold up long before the memory foam turned into a flat pad,” they wrote.

Some complained that the sizing was way off, with a number of shoppers claiming they had to size up one or two full sizes to get the right fit.
“I returned these to get a larger size and even the larger size was too small,” a shopper wrote. “The quality really isn’t that great either.”
The verdict
While some shoppers were let down by the thin memory foam padding and some major sizing confusion, the house slippers boast more than 70% positive reviews calling them comfortable and Dad-approved. If shopper consider the suggestion of sizing up and perhaps rotating between a couple pairs to avoid wear-and-tear, these could be the stocking stuffer your dad, husband or grandfather were hoping for.
