Alex Rodriguez is showing off his weight loss since his split from ex-fiancée, Jennifer Lopez, and fans are here for it.
The 45-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share side-by-side of himself from December 2020 — while he and Lopez were engaged — and him now, single and ready to mingle, in April 2021.

"Left the dad-bod in 2020," Rodriguez captioned his latest post. "Anyone else determined to stick with their fitness goals this year? I’ve been consistent with my workouts and finally put down the chips. What food is your weakness?"
The former baseball star's post was immediately met with feedback for his post-breakup "glow-up" by his followers.
"Getting ready to be single will do that!" someone wrote.
"The difference in being single is noticeable," echoed another.

"Everyone gets hotter after a breakup," one person said, while another added, "Single A-Rod is back, baby!"
"Looking like a snack 'cause you're cutting snacks out of your diet," someone jokingly told the star.
It's only been a few weeks since Rodriguez and Lopez announced their split earlier this month. Despite calling off their engagement, the two were spotted on a dinner date just this week. Sources have also since revealed to Us Weekly that A-Rod has every intention of reconciling things, however possible.
“A-Rod will not give up on his and J. Lo’s relationship,” the source stated. “He is willing to do anything to make it work.”
The former MLB player and "Hustlers" actress first started dating back in 2017, and were engaged by 2019. Unfortunately, after having to postpone their wedding due to COVID-19, word began to surface that the two had called off their engagement altogether.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said in a joint statement to the Today show on April 15. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
