'He got a taste of his own medicine': Fans react amid reports A-Rod is 'shocked' by Bennifer reunion

Rumors that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together have been running rampant since they were spotted vacationing together in Montana over the weekend. Sources revealed to E! News that the pair "seemed very much like a couple" and share "unreal" chemistry.
While many are thrilled at the idea of a nostalgic Bennifer reunion, Lopez's most recent ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, isn't as enthusiastic.
"A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on," a source close to Lopez told E! News. "He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him."
The source went on to say that Rodriguez was "upset" and "saddened" because Lopez "is not interested in rekindling anything" and "is done" with their relationship.
Despite Rodriguez's seemingly genuine disconcertion, fans were quick to point out that he and Lopez split due to his alleged infidelity.
"Well, he did cheat on her, what did expect?" one person tweeted.
"As I'm sure she was shocked when she found out he was messaging that chick from 'Southern Charm,'" tweeted another.
"Probably not as ‘shocked’ as J.Lo finding out A-Rod was DMing women from Bravo," someone else wrote.
"Maybe he shouldn't have been texting other women," someone commented, adding "I'm shocked that he's shocked."
"The way he got a taste of his own medicine," added another.
"J.Lo said 'Thank you, next!'" one person chimed in, while another wrote, "He needs to mind his business. He lost her. She was obviously ready for marriage and he messed it up. Plus it’s not like Ben is some random."

Sources previously revealed to E! News that Lopez and Affleck's reunion isn't exactly that "shocking," since the pair have apparently been in touch for a while.
"They have been in touch here and there throughout the years," the source said. "Ben reached out to her to see how she was doing and they had dinner together a few times within this last month. It's natural between them and the chemistry is unreal. They picked up where they last left off and are enjoying each other's company right now."
