Aldo just dropped their first collection of face masks — and 100% of the proceeds support racial equality

This summer, Aldo is aiming to “unmask inequality” with a fashionable line of face masks - a first for the popular shoe and accessories company.
In collaboration with sister brand Call It Spring, Aldo will be donating 100 of the net proceeds from mask sales to organizations that serve and support Black and Indigenous Communities in North America.

Sequined, bedazzled and swathed in silk, Aldo’s Face Masks for Change are not only a stylish way to fight the spread of COVID-19 - the sale of them will have a direct impact on the social justice movement taking place today.

In the U.S., all proceeds will be donated to the National Urban League (NUL), which works towards enabling African Americans and other underserved urban residents to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.
In Canada, proceeds will be split equally amongst the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) and True North Aid (TNA).

BBPA is an organization with a mission to advance Canada’s Black communities by delivering programs that support business and professional excellence, higher education and economic development.
TNA provides practical humanitarian support to northern Indigenous communities in Canada, ensuring the dignity and health of Indigenous people through its actions.
Each mask comes equipped with adjustable elastic bands for personalized fit and comfort. All designs are washable and reusable as well.
The collection also includes a “face scarf” which is ideal for the fall and winter, as well as a pair of toned-down jersey masks that come in plain black and grey.
