You read it right. Puff sleeves are back, and they are cute, trendy, and just what you need for your fall and winter wardrobe this year.
The puff-sleeve trend isn’t new (it actually goes all the way back to the Renaissance), but since the comeback of the ‘80s and ‘90s fashion staple, they’ve made it to the top of my fashion wish list. I’m loving wearing and styling puff sleeves because they are so versatile — you can rock them with a range of items such as high waisted jeans, flared pants, or even a skirt.
The puffy look works well in every season, but especially fall and winter because often people go for the baggy, cozy look. With pleats around the shoulders that add volume and and give the signature “puffy” look, they’re an easy way to stand out amongst the Zoom crowd even when working from home.
Nordstrom has a wide variety of affordable puff-sleeve tops and dresses, styled with both short and long sleeve lengths, and even warmer versions designed for colder seasons.

You really can’t go wrong with a white blouse, as it’s a wardrobe essential that goes well with both casual and formal wear. Here the ruffled collar and puffed sleeves give it just the boost it needs to make a statement.

A slightly puffed short-sleeve button up pleather top that I am totally in awe of. The fabric and colour are giving off fall vibes and I can see myself experimenting with this fabric now, or styling it with the matching pants.

This crewneck knit is the perfect cozy item you need to stay warm yet look stylish on a day-to-day. It’s made from recycled fibers, and also comes in an off-white colour that’s simple and stylish enough for everyday wear.

Don’t worry, you can still rock a minidress this fall. The short-sleeve denim dress with an adjustable belt is exactly the type of dress you can wear with or without leggings and still look chic.

Who says floral is only for the summer? This stylish chiffon blouse with a deep neckline, paired with jeans is great for transitioning into fall. The long puff sleeves give it a cozy look too.
