Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Noah Burnham, Eagle: Ran for 148 yards and a touchdown, and added three catches for 47 yards and another score in a 35-22 win vs. Borah to clinch the 6A SIC River Division title.

Taeshaun Reese, Rocky Mountain: Ran for 124 yards on 19 carries in a 31-13 win over Timberline to clinch the 6A SIC Foothills Division title.

Hudson Lewis, Timberline: Hauled in 12 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown, and returned a kickoff 96 yards for six points in a 31-13 loss to Rocky Mountain.

Marcellus Clay, Capital: Ran for 99 yards and a touchdown, and returned a pick-six interception to lead the Eagles to a 35-34 win at Middleton.

Asher Gaudet, Owyhee: Only needed 14 carries to post 108 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-7 win vs. Mountain View.

Zeke Martinez, Meridian: Finished with 410 total yards and six touchdowns in a 45-21 win vs. Centennial. He went 16-for-23 for 322 yards and four TDs through the air, and he ran for 88 yards and two more scores.

Ryder Scheibe, Emmett: Ran for 251 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries in a 53-28 win at Nampa. He also completed 4-of-4 passes for 101 yards.

Isaac Moore, Vallivue: Completed 12-of-16 passes for 141 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-0 win over Columbia.

Kash Cobb, Weiser: Ran for 221 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wolverines to their first conference title since 2005 with a 14-0 win over Fruitland.

Ronaldo Gomez, Rimrock: Racked up 496 total yards and nine touchdowns in a 78-14 win over Wilder, clinching the Raiders their first conference title since 2011 and their first playoff berth since 2014.
