Bruins Tough Guy Beats Up Stars Captain

During the Boston Bruins' contest against the Dallas Stars, Jamie Benn threw a dangerous hit on Brandon Carlo.

Immediately following the hit, Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov stood up for Carlo and dropped the gloves with Benn.

Zadorov certainly got the better of Benn in the fight, too, as the 6-foot-6 defenseman landed several big punches before successfully earning the takedown.

One of the main reasons why the Bruins brought in Zadorov this past off-season was his toughness. He certainly showed off this element of his game by standing up for Carlo and dropping the gloves with Benn. He undoubtedly gained more respect from his teammates in the process.
