Bears WR DJ Moore responds to Packers S Xavier McKinney ripping him

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for a divisional showdown against the Green Bay Packers, and things are already heating up off the field.

Packers safety Xavier McKinney recently called out Bears receiver DJ Moore after he was seen walking off the field during a play in the first quarter against the Arizona Cardinals. Moore later said it was because he tweaked his ankle, although McKinney didn't seem to believe him, saying "Cap."

"(Moore) is another one of those guys, same guy; play’s still going on, and you walk off the field on your offense," McKinney said, via Matt Schneidman. "You know, you take note of that. Everybody takes note of that, and we see it, and we’re going to work it accordingly."

On Thursday, Moore was asked about McKinley's comments, and instead of taking a shot back, he indicated he's going to let it play out on the field.

"Trash talk is trash talk," Moore said, via Patrick Finley. "We'll see on Sunday what it all plays out to be."

Sunday's game is big for a number of reasons, especially considering it's rivalry week, but also because of Chicago's struggling offense. The Bears fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and promoted Thomas Brown to OC after two abysmal showings coming off the bye week.

Waldron's dismissal and Brown's subsequent promotion won't be a magic cure all for Chicago's offense, but a change could be what this unit needed to kick things into gear. Moore will have a chance to respond to McKinley's criticism when the Bears host the Packers Sunday at Soldier Field.
