Tyler Seguin helped the Stars pick up this win, as the former Bruins star recorded two assists. With this, he has seven goals, 13 points, and a plus-10 rating in 11 games this season.
The Seguin trade will always be remembered as one of the worst in the Bruins' history. In this matchup, it managed to find a new way to get worse.
Seguin hit a massive career milestone against the Bruins, recording his 800th career NHL point. It took the 15-year veteran 980 games to reach the 800-point mark. He also is the first player from the 2010 NHL Entry Draft to get the milestone.
Seeing Seguin hit a notable milestone against the Bruins is undoubtedly ironic, especially considering how badly trading him aged for Boston. None of the pieces the Bruins landed for Seguin became long-term parts of their roster, while Seguin is still a key player for Dallas.
In 777 games over 12 seasons as a Star, Seguin has 302 goals and 680 points.
