Death in Paradise's Ralf Little lands next movie role

Ralf Little has landed his next movie role after exiting Death in Paradise.

The DI Neville Parker actor has been cast in upcoming dystopian thriller The Flaw, an adaptation of the 1965 novel To Lathos by Greek author Antonis Samarakis (via Variety).

Currently filming in Athens, the film marks the feature directorial debut of Theophilos Papastylianos.

The story takes place in a world dominated by The Regime and follows a Special Service Interrogator, played by My Policeman star David Dawson, who's tasked to follow a perfect Plan to prove a Suspect (Arthur McBain) is guilty.

As the interrogation unfolds, the Interrogator realises there's a flaw in the Plan and in the Regime itself, leading him to question everything he thought he knew.

Little's role in The Flaw hasn't been disclosed. The cast also includes Danny John-Jules and Angela Brouskou, whose character descriptions also remain under wraps for the time being.

Samarakis' acclaimed novel on state oppression has previously been made into a movie.

Ten years after its original release, the book was adapted for the big screen in a French-German-Italian co-production titled La Faille (translated to Weak Spot in English) and directed by Peter Fleischmann.

As for Little, the star bowed out as DI Parker earlier this year when Neville and DS Florence Cassell (Josephine Jobert) left Saint Marie together.

Little has since starred on U&Dave reality TV show Will & Ralf Should Know Better alongside friend and Two Pints co-star Will Mellor.

The Flaw doesn't have a release date yet.

Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradise, both air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
