Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Arrived in New York City
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have arrived in New York City.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex marked their first major, in person public appearance together since the pair relocated to the United States in early 2020 with a visit to the One World Observatory in Manhattan alongside Mayor Bill de Blasio, his wife First Lady Chirlane McCray, and their son, Dante de Blasio. The couple's trip to New York City marks their first time visiting the city together (Meghan had her baby shower for her firstborn son, Archie, in NYC back in 2019) and the highly anticipated visit also is the duchess's first following her giving birth to her daughter, Lilibet Diana, back in June.
The couple arrived in sophisticated fall attire for the day, with Meghan opting for black trousers, a matching turtleneck, a chic wool coat and stiletto pumps, with her hair pulled back in her signature low bun. Prince Harry coordinated with his wife wearing a black suit, white shirt, and leather dress shoes for the visit. The couple walked hand in hand into the building where they were greeted by First Lady McCray for their tour.
The pair's trip to New York comes ahead of their planned appearance at Saturday's Global Citizen Live event, where the two will appear on the Great Lawn at Central Park to stress the importance of global vaccine equity. The Sussexes will be joined by other famous faces during Saturday's event, including Jennifer Lopez, Doja Cat, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and Camila Cabello, and more.
