But what does Election Day mean for Congress? On the latest episode of Capitol Gains, Yahoo Finance's Rachelle Akuffo, Washington Correspondent Ben Werschkul, and Senior Columnist Rick Newman are joined by Kyle Kondik, Sabato’s Crystal Ball Managing Editor at the University of Virginia Center for Politics to discuss the future of the House and Senate following the 2024 election. Kondik believes the most likely outcome will be that the Republican Party wins the Senate and the House will follow suit of whichever candidate wins the presidency.
