Power is sent solely to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The interior features an 8.0-inch touchscreen and a squarish steering wheel with two buttons.
The interior can be customized to the owner's liking with McLaren's MSO program.
McLaren claims the W1 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds on its way to a 217-mph top speed.
All 399 copies of the W1 have already been spoken for, and they each have a starting price of $2.1 million.
