Is The McLaren Or Honda At Fault In This Crash?

A huge accident between a McLaren and Honda recorded by a guy on his motorcycle has people arguing about who’s at fault. The fact you get to see a beautiful supercar obliterated in no time is just adding to the emotion of the disagreements. Some hate to see such a thing happen, while others seem to derive some pleasure at the sight.

Who’s at fault in this interstate crash?

We’ve shared the footage for you to watch and draw your own conclusions. The rider is behind the McLaren turning left in an intersection with traffic lights. As the light turns yellow, the supercar driver starts going through his turn.

But a Honda Civic in the oncoming traffic lanes comes through the intersection at the same time, hitting the McLaren almost nose-to-nose. The front end of the British exotic explodes as it’s designed to do in a collision, the safety cell remaining intact.

The rider exclaims at seeing such a thing unfold before his very eyes. He might have even been thinking what might have happened had he been in the McLaren’s spot.

Some feel the McLaren driver is at fault because he turned in front of the Honda. Instead, they argue he should’ve waited, then made his turn since without an arrow he didn’t have right of way.

But others say the Civic entered the intersection too late and broke the law. After the crash, the rider’s helmet cam shows the light in that direction is red. But did it turn red after the Honda crossed into the intersection? And even if it were yellow, was the driver at fault for speeding through right as the McLaren began turning?

The argument centers around who has right of way in this situation. So, who do you think is at fault in this crash and why?
