There’s no doubt about it, Americans love their pickup trucks, which is why the new Ford Bronco and two-door Jeep Wrangler trucks are so awesome. Both promise all the practicality of a pickup along with the trail capabilities and open-air fun of the beloved rigs. The only drawback is if you’re a hardcore GM guy.

This should be illegal to do to a Dodge Viper.

Both are made by SoFlo Customs, sister brand to Apocalypse which makes those wicked 6x6 Jeeps and such. These models aren’t quite so in-your-face but they’re still compelling enough to make enthusiasts perk up.

After all, the two-door Wrangler pickup, called the JTT, will be limited to just 27 production units. That exclusivity isn’t all that’s compelling about it. SoFlo says it’s the perfect tribute to the Jeep Scrambler from long ago, but a donor Wrangler Unlimited is needed to create it.

Quite a few bespoke features can be added, including different paint and upholstery. Plus, customers can opt for a turbodiesel with almost 500 lb.-ft. of torque on tap or just go for the Hellcat supercharged V8. Either one promises plenty of heat-pounding fun.

Then there’s the four-door Bronco truck, nicknamed the Stud. While Ford keeps teasing it might create such a vehicle, SoFlo has made it a reality, at least for those who can pony up the cash to have their Bronco transformed into one.

To create the Stud, SoFlo upgrades the Bronco’s frame and extends the wheelbase by 16 inches. It also adds a 5-inch lift to accommodate the 38- or 40-inch tires. You’ll note the fender flares, also added in the process, as is the armored coating on the body panels along with aluminum bumpers.

Since these are created for open-air adventuring, the upgraded interior is still weatherproof.

Obviously, these trucks aren’t for the casual buyer since either one requires a higher financial commitment than a Toyota Tacoma, but they’re unique and definitely will turn heads. The only real question is, which would you choose?
