Flatrock Motorsports Park Opens Exciting Club Track in Tennessee

The newest club motorsport facility in the United States, Flatrock Motorsports Park, opened its doors Thursday during a ceremonial unveiling.

The venue has been under construction in Cumberland County, Tenn., about 140 miles west of Nashville off I-40, for the past two years. The 3.5-mile, 23-turn Club circuit opened to members on Oct. 24.

The circuit features 127 feet of elevation change across its 23 turns and an average lap speed of more than 100 mph is expected in GT3 machinery.

The opening ceremony marked the first stage of Flatrock’s planned development, with a karting track and clubhouse set to open in 2025.

Further plans include the certification of a 2.7-mile motorsports circuit, to reach FIA and FIM Grade 2 standard, with several motorsport bodies already mentioning Flatrock as a prospective location for events across the next few years.

Other anticipated additions to Flatrock include a hotel and restaurant, brewery and winery, along with an amphitheater for holding concerts and events.

“Flatrock is destined to become one of the top motorsport destinations, and this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to see where we go from here as we continue to develop and expand the facility.”
