The last car owned by the great Elvis Presley, this 1977 Cadillac Seville by Fisher is of incredible historical significance. It’s also up for auction online right now, so if you want a piece of memorabilia on wheels from The King of Rock himself, this might be it.
A Days of Thunder sequel is reportedly in the works.
This wasn’t a car Elvis just owned or bought as a gift for someone else, it was driven by him before his untimely death. But it’s also been out of the public eye since the current owner purchased it in 2014 at the Graceland Auction. In other words, this might be the final time for you to snag this interesting automobile.
Normally, a ’77 Cadillac Seville wouldn’t generate that much excitement. After all, most are sitting in junkyards or have deteriorated in some barn, a vehicle which many are happy to forget existed. But this one is special.
Appropriately, it has been exceptionally well preserved the paint and that Fisher bodywork looking ready to take to any car show and present quite well. The interior looks to be also in excellent condition.
The lot listing doesn’t say anything about this Cadillac running and driving, but we assume it does both. Under the long hood is a 5.7-liter V8 mated to an automatic transmission. If you do want to accumulate more than the 57,998 miles shown in the listing, it should be a relatively comfortable ride. Although, this is the type of vehicle which could sit in a museum, being driven sparingly.
Also included with the sale of this Caddie is a certificate of authenticity from the Elvis Presley museum, plus a copy of the title with his name and personal signature. That helps someone feel confident in the celebrity ownership of this ride, something which sadly has been a problem in some cases.
