The Dodge Durango may be on the way out, but Stellantis is celebrating with special edition SUVs all the way to the end. The latest is a Hellcat variant called Brass Monkey — or, formally, the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey — complete with brass wheels, a satin hood, a sharp brown leather interior, and, well, little else that would conceivably make this a particularly special Durango Hellcat.

If this news feels familiar to you... it should. After announcing plans to continue selling the car in the 2024 calendar year even after the Charger and Challenger passed on, Dodge revealed an "AlcHEMI" special edition of the SRT 392 when it unveiled plans for a Charger-like "Last Call." Emphasis on those quotes, because the Last Call was far from the last call; the "Silver Bullet" Hellcat Durango followed in August, accompanied by a 20th anniversary Durango R/T. Then came the "Hellcat Hammerhead," named for its sharkskin-shaded silver leather rather than anything that actually reflects the hammerhead shark.

Notably, none of the last four are meant to celebrate the end of Durango Hellcat production. They instead honor the 20th anniversary of the first Durango with a Hemi engine in 2004 — a car that no buyer back then could have imagined with the ridiculous 710 horsepower available in all of these Hellcat variants.

Despite the odd choice of reason for these special editions, nothing from Dodge suggests that the brand plans to continue building V-8 Durangos into the 2025 calendar year. If you're particularly sold on any of these special packages, the massively powerful SUVs are available to order now, at an MSRP of $113,720 before a destination charge.
