For most, the dream of owning a Bugatti is more like a mirage, something they can see but never actually touch. And while getting that Chiron or Veyron is likely just a dream, there is a much more affordable Bugatti for sale right now you likely can afford, believe it or not.

This 1939 Bugatti is of course not from Molsheim and thus isn’t actually a Bugatti but instead is a replica, which explains why it’s listed on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $4,249 or Best Offer. Like we said, you can probably afford this one.

A lot of people are going to laugh at this because they’ve been lead to believe only the hypercars are worth having, or a true classic you’d be frightened to even turn over, let alone drive anywhere. This thing you could actually enjoy, plus there is some rarity to it.

Called a Daytona MOYA, this car was created by Daytona Automotive Fiberglass out of Orlando, Florida back in 1982, this is one of about 50 built and one or about five documented survivors. So you’re not going to see another one at the local car meet or even a regional show.

Powered by a 1973 Volkswagen air cooled engine and using the matching drivetrain, this car is easy to maintain with parts readily available. That removes the hesitancy to actually drive and enjoy the thing since you should be able to fix whatever breaks without going into financial ruin. Plus it has a four-speed manual transmission for added fun on the road.

The seller is including two replacement seats with this vehicle. The listing also makes it clear this Bugatti replica needs some work, including fender skirts and a convertible top added, plus some paint correction.

For the right person, this could be an amazing project car and a unique, fun ride to take places.
