BMW Driver Learns A Hard Lesson

Judging by how so many BMW owners behave on public roads, they genuinely believe they’re in the ultimate driving machine. But the fact of the matter is a lot of Bimmers aren’t truly performance cars and they can’t really outrun the police.

Porsche owner wins a big lawsuit against her mechanic.

However, the Arkansas trooper who pulls this guy over, only to have him flee, doesn’t even need to catch up to the suspect again. The same thing which takes down so many other suspects is this guy’s downfall: himself.

We think a lot of these people who run from police are egomaniacs who believe they’re just incredible drivers and own super fast cars. It’s all pride backed by no substance, an increasingly common condition these days.

In this instance, this isn’t the hottest car on the road and the suspect obviously pushed past his own limits. Yet we wonder if after all this he still doesn’t believe he’s a really great driver.

Before that, our suspect repeatedly stops in the middle of the road even after the trooper orders him to pull into a parking lot. It’s pretty clear the guy has the intention of running once the trooper gets out of his cruiser, a trick we and cops see so much it’s ridiculous.

Sure enough, just as the trooper is within arm’s length of the mediocre Bimmer our suspect drops the hammer, slowly pulling away while probably feeling like Steve McQueen.

With that little lead, our suspect gets around a corner and pours it on so he can fly like a free bird. Taking several more turns rapidly, he does lose the trooper, but he wasn’t home free.

That’s because the suspect ended up taking himself out, wrecking out after losing control, proving he is in fact nothing like Steve McQueen.
