'Worst ever': UFC fans fume over 'disgusting' controversy
Brendan Allen and Kyle Daukaus delivered a brutal middleweight war in Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night: Poirier v Hooker, but fans couldn’t look past a controversial scorecard.
Both fighters lasted the distance in a brutal battle that saw Allen dominate the first two rounds with his superior striking.

But Daukaus took over the third round and wrestled Allen to the ground where he attempted multiple submissions.
While Allen was able to get back up to his feet with moments left, the third round clearly belonged to Daukaus.
The judges scored it 29-28, 29-27, and 30-27 to Allen, who moved to a professional record of 15-3.
While the judges scored the fight to Allen, which was correct, fans blew up at the scoring.
The last round was close to a 10-8 round for Daukaus after trapping his rival for four minutes and controlling his back.
Allen was eventually able to get back to his feet and throw a few punches, which could be argued stopped the 10-8.
But the judge that handed Allen every round in a 30-27 prompted outrage from former middleweight champion Michael Bisping.
“I want to know what that judge was smoking. I’m telling you right now there’s no way that wasn’t a 10-9 for Kyle Daukaus,” he said.
“Had Brendan not got on top towards the end, it would have been a 10-8 and we could have potentially seen a draw. Come on, 30-27? That’s absolute nonsense.
“Even a layman can see that when he had his back, had a body triangle, threatening with a choke for almost four minutes. Come on, how do you not give the guy the round!?”
Fans were also left dumfounded.

#UFCVegas4 that 30-27 Allen scorecard may be the worst judging this year, and thats saying something. We have witnessed some garbage ass scorecards these past few cards. Something needs to be done in regards to supervision of these casual judges.

The worst judging decision of all time between Daukaus and Allen. Allen gets a 30-27Round 3 after being totally dominated. Judging reform badly needs in UFC #UFCVegas

Got to watch round 3 of that fight back. One judge gave it to Allen and lots saying it’s arguably the worst judges score ever.

How on earth did that last judge give it 30-27??? Allen won but he clearly lost the 3rd round. Starting to think some of these mma judges don’t know the rules/ how to score a fight. Or at the very least don’t u see stand how it works on the ground #UFCVegas4

30-27 Allen is a disgusting scorecard. are you freaking serious?

Yeah but I think Perry took the 1st in the 2nd half. But yeah still tripping out a bit by the judges scoring the Allen fight 30-27 when he was backpacked for like 4 mins and 50 seconds in the 3rd

Fortunately, the judging didn’t cost Allen the win.
