Second man dies in Travell Mazion crash
Mazion's car slammed head-on into a car driven by Richard Salter.
Mazion was killed instantly, while Salter, 61, died later at a hospital in nearby Round Rock.
Mazion, a junior middleweight prospect, was 17-0 in his career with 13 knockouts.
His most recent victory was a knockout of Fernando Castaneda with a body shot 58 seconds into the first round on January 11 to secure the WBC-NABF super welterweight title.
Mazion conducted his ring walk without using music as a tribute to victims of gun violence.
He was nine days shy of his 25th birthday.
