Novak Djokovic's wife lifts lid on horror fallout from husband's fame
Jelena Djokovic has lifted the lid on the nasty side of life on tour with husband Novak.
Jelena didn’t make the trip to Melbourne in January to watch Novak win his eighth Australian Open title, watching on from Serbia with children Stefan, 5, and Tara, 2.

She also chose not to attend the Wimbledon final last year and hasn’t made the trip to Australia for a number of years.
Speaking to Vesti-Online recently, Jelena opened up about the dark side of living life in the limelight and why she’s stepped out of the public eye in recent times.
“At first, the experience does not alarm you because it can bring you some difficulties. We look at public figures and think that kind of publicity is okay,” she said.
"But as time goes on, you lack anonymity, you lack the privacy to be able to do whatever you like at any time, in any situation.
“I try to resist all these expectations to always be myself and for Novak to be able to be himself.”
Jelena revealed how she’s sick of being criticised over the way she looks.
"That is probably why I am being criticised by the public ‘why didn't I wear makeup’ or ‘why wasn't I always wearing heels’,” she said.
“But I decided that between the way I see and love myself and what the public expects, I choose not to disappoint myself.
"The development of technology and social networks have contributed to making the lives of public figures available at all times.
“I am aware that as a wife of a popular athlete I might be interesting for the tabloids, that is why I try not to give them much material to write about me.”
Djokovic enjoys much-earned holiday
Fresh from deep runs at the Australian Open, Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and the recently retired Caroline Wozniacki have taken some time away for holidays.
Nadal experienced a hectic start to the 2020 season, playing in Perth and Sydney for the ATP Cup, Melbourne for the Australian Open, Kuwait and then Cape Town for a charity match with Roger Federer.
While a number of top players are now slugging it out at tournaments in Rotterdam and New York, Nadal is enjoying some downtime at home on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
The World No.2 posted a number of happy snaps on Instagram on Tuesday, showing him enjoying a day on a boat soaking up some sun.
And while Djokovic is also enjoying a break, his couldn’t be more different to Nadal’s.
The Australian Open champion is currently hitting the slopes on a skiing holiday with his family in the Dolomites in Italy.
Photos show Djokovic lapping up the snow with wife Jelena and their children.
As for Wozniacki, she’s clearly embracing retirement.
The former World No.1 stopped over in New Zealand on her way home after the Australian Open, taking in the incredible scenery in Queenstown.
