Taylor Walker and partner Ellie's heartbreaking baby news
Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker has received additional leave before pre-season training following the devastating news that he and partner Ellie Brown lost their unborn child.
Walker and Ellie had announced the pregnancy in September following the conclusion of the Crows’ AFL season.
The baby, their first, was due in March.
“The thoughts of the entire Crows family are with Taylor and Ellie, as well as their extended family, at this difficult time,” a club statement read.
The heartbreak is the second family tragedy to hit the Crows this year.
Rory Sloane and wife Belinda shared in August that they had lost their first child through stillbirth.
Walker was slated to begin pre-season training next week.
