Rams safety Taylor Rapp has surprised his long-time girlfriend with a proposal only moments after winning the Super Bowl.

The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to become just the second NFL team to win the Super Bowl on their home ground.

The Bengals were leading 17-20 in the final moments before quarterback Matt Stafford found Cooper Kupp in the endzone with just over 90 seconds left to play.

Needing a touchdown drive, the Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow weren't able to come up with a miracle, handing the Rams a 23-20 Super Bowl win.

Celebrations were wild in SoFi Stadium and Rapp took the opportunity to propose to girlfriend Dani Johnson.

The NFL world went wild over Rapp's proposal.

Taylor Rapp's Super Bowl excitement

Rapp and Johnson have been dating since high school.

The pair stayed together during college when Rapp went and played football in Washington.

Rapp will enter the final year of his contract with the Rams next year.

The safety made seven tackles during the Super Bowl, four of these came on his own.

Only cornerback Darious Williams had more.

Rapp finished the season with 94 tackles and a career best four interceptions.
