'Wow': Fans stunned by Sam Burgess social media stunt
Sam Burgess has been hilariously grilled about a recent image that left his social media followers stunned.
The former Rabbitohs enforcer has admitted to finding it hard to keep the weight off since retiring from the NRL.

However, a picture of the Rabbitohs assistant coach at training last week shows him looking as fit as ever.
The English enforcer was snapped with his short pulled up over his head, exposing a ripped torso that proves he's still in good shape post-footy career.
"I hate it when the camera catches you off guard... It was compulsory inside out shirt for referee duties today," Burgess captioned the photo showing off his ripped stomach.
Followers were unsurprisingly quick to hit back at Burgess' photo with one joking: ""You’ve got a lot better at that editing app you were telling me about".
The Instagram post yielded hundreds of likes and replies and the Rabbitohs legend was bailed up about it when he appeared on Sydney radio with Nova breakfast hosts Fittsy and Wippa on Thursday morning.
“How frustrating the other day, you’re there at training and you’ve got your shirt up and someone’s taken a photo,” Wippa said.
“You were trying to be private, they’re all over you mate.”
Burgess was happy to keep pleading his ignorance about the cameras being on him, in a funny back-and-forth with the radio host.
“Honestly Wippa I can’t believe it. I’m trying to get a bit of peace and quiet and the camera’s just snapping away as I’ve got my shirt off," Burgess said.
Wippa: “Just horrible. Then you had to post it on your own page.”
Fans stunned by Burgess’ physique
Burgess: “I thought I’d better share it, because it didn’t really happen if it’s not on Instagram.”
Jokes aside, the photo of Burgess caused a stir in the rugby league world with current and former players amazed by his condition.
“Oh My God,” Braith Anasta replied, while Panthers winger Josh Mansour simply wrote: "Wow".
Burgess has made no secret of the fact that his weight ballooned out after a chronic shoulder injury forced him to retire from the NRL in 2019.
The English star is obviously taking advantage of the exercise opportunities afforded him as a trainer for his former club, with weight issues clearly a thing of the past.
Burgess is a legend of the South Sydney club and famously won the Clive Churchill medal in the Rabbitohs' famous 2014 grand final victory.
He played 182 games for the club in a superb NRL career for the Bunnies, who play the Melbourne Storm on Friday night.
