Cameron Munster has told Matty Johns who he thought was the ‘MVP’ of the Maroons’ State of Origin celebrations.

Queensland won a classic State of Origin match and clinched the series at Suncorp after a 20-14 win and captain Daly Cherry-Evans couldn’t help but take a dig at the Maroons’ critics after the victory.

Chipped before and during the season as "Queensland's worst-ever team", captain Daly Cherry-Evans couldn't resist a quiet dig on the podium.

"We made a lot of sacrifice and a lot of people at home couldn't be here tonight," he said.

"This is the best stadium in the world. Thank you very much.

"And on behalf of the worst-ever Queensland team, thank you very much."

But on Friday, the player of the series - Munster - told Johns who he thinks had the best fun in the post-match celebrations.

“Jake Friend would be up there, of course myself and the other one would have to be Corey Allen... he’s had a bit of a crack,” he told Johns on SEN Radio.

Unfortunately, Munster said master coach Bennett didn’t join them.

“We tried to get him down,” he added.

Dustin Martin attends State of Origin

AFL star Dustin Martin is clearly enjoying his post-final celebrations after crossing-codes and watching the Maroons defeat the Blues at a packed Suncorp Stadium.

Recently, Martin was instrumental in the Richmond Tigers establishing themselves as one of the greatest teams the AFL has seen.

The Tigers spearhead is being celebrated as arguably the greatest player of all time after capturing an unprecedented third Norm Smith Medal, in Richmond's stunning grand final win over Geelong.

But the champion AFL star, on holiday, enjoyed taking part in a record-breaking crowd and watched on as the Maroons defeated the Blues in a thrilling State of Origin decider.
