LeBron James' son cops brutal season-ending injury
LeBron James’ son, Bronny, underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus earlier this month, according to multiple reports.
Bronny reportedly suffered the injury in practice about three weeks ago, according to the Los Angeles Daily News, and is believed to be season-ending.

James currently plays for Sierra Canyon in Los Angeles, though high school basketball has not yet been permitted to resume play indoors in California — something that could help him, depending on his recovery time.
James first mentioned his injury while streaming on Twitch earlier this month, but did not specify how it happened.
Sierra Canyon has started competing as a club basketball team with high school sports shut down, and is set to play next on March 5 in Utah, per the report. James, however, won’t be ready to return by then.
James, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 4.1 points and 15 minutes in all 34 games last season as a freshman at Sierra canyon.
He’s currently listed as the No. 24 overall player in the Rivals.com Class of 2023, and has reported interest from Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and UCLA — along with an offer from North Carolina Central.
James had teamed up with the son of another NBA legend, Zaire Wade - the son of Miami Heat great Dwyane Wade.
Ben Simmons boosts NBA Defensive Player of the Year case
Ben Simmons clapped for his teammates and laughed with Joel Embiid as the 76ers' reserves put the finishing touches to a rout.
The two All-Stars had long done their part to keep Philly rolling atop the Eastern Conference, with Simmons showing why he is a big chance to be named NBA defensive player of the year and Embiid demonstrating why he is in the MVP discussion.
Embiid had 23 points and nine rebounds while Simmons scored 15 points and provided seven assists as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Dallas Mavericks 111-97 on Thursday night.
"Ben set the tone. Joel was phenomenal," coach Doc Rivers said.
Simmons and Embiid wrecked the Mavericks in the second quarter, and with each steal, dunk and drive showed why they were again selected as All-Stars and have led the Sixers to the best record (22-11) in the east.
Simmons and Embiid made eight of 12 shots in the second quarter and combined for 22 points to help the Sixers turn this one into a rout.
The Australian backed down Luka Doncic, put a spin move on the big man and hit a pretty one-handed reverse under the bucket and drew a foul. He sank it for a 12-point lead.
Doncic top-scored with 19 points for the Mavericks, but Simmons continued to make his case as a defensive player of the year and cut off the pick-and roll to limit Doncic to 3-of-9 shooting in the first half.
"I was just being me. Doing what I do," Simmons said. "I like taking those challenges. Just tell me who to guard."
