Former boxing world heavyweight champ Mike Tyson dropped jaws after releasing a workout video showing he still has ‘terrifying’ power.

Tyson, dubbed in his prime as the ‘Baddest man on the planet’, is considered one of the greatest heavyweights of all-time and boasted arguably the most ruthless aggression the sport has ever seen.

Despite retiring in 2006, fans were left in awe after the 53-year-old posted a video of him striking the pads during a workout.

The sheer power and speed the big man still possesses had fans declaring he would obliterate some heavyweights right now.

The clip had combat icons such ring announcer Micael Buffer and UFC commentator Joe Rogan in rapture.

Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at just 20 years of age when he stopped Trevor Berbick for the title.

He went on to record 44 knockouts in 50 wins.

Tyson recently announced plans on making a stunning comeback to boxing and his trainer candidly claimed the former champ would knock out Deontay Wilder in a fight if he had six-weeks of training.

But boxing community, including champs Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury can rest easy as Tyson said the training is for a four-round charity exhibition fight.

"I've been hitting the mitts for the last week,” Tyson told rapper T.I. on Instagram Live.

"That's been tough, my body is really jacked up and really sore from hitting the mitts.

"I've been working out, I've been trying to get in the ring, I think I'm going to box some exhibitions and get in shape.

"I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three or four-round exhibitions for some charities and stuff.”
