'Sad old man': WWE icon slammed over 'wardrobe malfunction' comment
Wrestling icon Jim Ross has been criticised for an off-colour attempt at humour while on the call for American Elite Wrestling.
The high-profile commentary veteran was calling the AEW Casino Battle Royale when he made a cringeworthy joke about wrestler Anna Jay.

The 22-year-old momentarily adjusted her top when Ross asked “Did Anna Jay have a wardrobe malfunction, or is that wishful thinking in my book?"
Ross’ comment drew swift condemnation from wrestling fans, prompting the WWE Hall of Famer to post a brief apology on Twitter - before deleting it shortly thereafter.
“Didn't mean to offend anyone on the wardrobe malfunction line,” Ross wrote.
"Weak attempt at humour. Sorry. Now lighten up.”

Ross’ half-hearted apology didn’t wash with wrestling fans, many of whom felt the time had come for AEW to move on from Ross.
Ross, who rose to prominence with the WWE, joined AEW on a three-year contract in April last year.
Nearly halfway into that deal, the wrestling company’s fans appear to have had enough.

AEW has not made a comment on the matter, nor has Anna Jay.
It comes as the AEW deal with the fallout from Matt Hardy’s scary fall in a match against Sammy Guevera.
Guevara speared Hardy off a platform, but in an apparent botch the pair nearly completely missed the table beneath.
Hardy lay motionless on the concrete floor as he crashed heavily into the ground.
The match was momentarily stopped as the referee made the ‘X’ signal to indicate the match needed to end for the injured wrestler.
But after a stop, and a reported concussion for Hardy, the match continued.
Hardy’s wife, Reby, tweeted he was rushed to hospital and suffered concussion.
This prompted fierce backlash from fans hitting back at the company for allowing the match to continue.
