'So beautiful': Aussie icon named as Indian cricketer's ideal date
Indian cricket star Murali Vijay has raised eyebrows after picking Aussie wonder Ellyse Perry as one of the two people he would like to share dinner with as part of an interview during isolation from the coronavirus crisis.
The former Indian opener was taking part in an interview held by the Chennai Super Kings, his Indian Premier League franchise, and answered a range of questions about cricket and isolation.

But the answer that raised the most eyebrows was when the 36-year-old was asked the two cricketers he would most like share dinner with.
While it was no surprise he picked teammate and friend Shikhar Dhawan, picking Aussie star Perry caught the attention of fans.

“Ellyse Perry. I want to have dinner with her. She is so beautiful. And Shikhar Dhawan any day. He is a fun guy. Just that he will speak Hindi and I will be conversing in Tamil,” he said.
Unfortunately for Vijay, Perry married Wallabies star Matt Toomua in 2015.
Perry’s unbelievable career
Perry has shot to the top of the cricket echelon with both her prowess with the bat and the ball.
The 29-year-old is widely considered the best all-rounder in the game after she won the ICC 2019 Women’s Cricketer of the Year.
She also was named in Wisden’s top five cricketers of the decade - alongside Aussie Steve Smith and Indian Virat Kohli - and was recently part of the Australian Women’s team that won the T20 World Cup.
Perry is an absolute superstar across all forms of cricket, and has even played professional soccer in the W-League.
Vijay has notched 12 centuries for India in 61 Tests, but was dropped from the national team in 2018 after a lean run with the bat.
