Bryson DeChambeau stuns golf world with 423-yard drive
Bryson DeChambeau continues to stun the golfing world after bombing a string of jaw-dropping drives, including a 423-yard monster, at the Memorial Tournament.
DeChambeau hadn’t competed since winning the Rocket Mortgage Classic two weeks ago, but started off the day with a 353-yard driven at Muirfield Village.

‘Oh wow’, the commentator said in astonishment, clearly impressed with his first stroke of the day.

But it was the 10th hole that had fans racing to social media to express their shock at what they had just seen.
DeChambeau launches monster drive
The 26-year-old star effortlessly blasted a 423-yard drive, and after a nonchalant reaction to the shot, the commentator could only express his shock.
“Look where he has aimed this,” he said.
“I have never seen anybody aim that far to the right. Wow.”

Today at @MemorialGolf --Bryson DeChambeau hit a 423 yard drive on the first hole...and then 407 on 17th... There is no course defense for that...only some much land available

The American then finished up the monster drive with a birdie to put himself in a good position.
DeChambeau faces a stacked field at the Memorial - nine of the top 10 in the world, 43 out of the top 50 - while coming off a victory two weeks ago when he pummelled Detroit Golf Club with his driver.
He had seven straight top-10 finishes dating to March, before COVID-19 shut down the tour. Since its return, DeChambeau has hit 29 tee shots at 350 yards or longer.
DeChambeau takes aim at cameraman
Bryson DeChambeau wasn’t happy with a cameraman at the Rocket Mortgage Classic on Saturday, however the cameraman appears to have only been doing his job.
DeChambeau — who shot a 5-under 67 in the third round at Detroit Golf Club and sits just three back of leader Matthew Wolff headed into Sunday — had to pitch out of a greenside bunker on No. 7.
The shot wasn’t great, and DeChambeau swung his club into the sand after out of frustration.
His anger, however, didn’t stop there.
Bryson running a little hot. Caught up with him on 7 where he took a Sergio slash at the sand after splashing out of a greenside bunker, muttered an expletive after missing the par save and spent 60 seconds in a...testy discussion with a cameraman on his way to 8 tee. pic.twitter.com/ENjQt1U689

DeChambeau took issue with a cameraman who followed his movements with his camera as he walked up to the green and marked his ball after the shot — which is exactly his job.
And with nothing else happening at the hole then, it’s not like the cameraman was missing out on another critical moment, either.
